Get ready for an amazing getaway in the “Lookout at Abbey Springs.”
This fully furnished, nautical condo is light, bright, clean and stocked with everything you’ll need and offers more amenities than the local hotels, all within a short drive to downtown Lake Geneva and all that the town has to offer.

This home is located in Abbey Springs, which is a luxury 5 Star gated golf community surrounding our Championship Golf Course and located across from Geneva Lake. It’s a member only community and as our guest, you’ll be able to enjoy all the privileges.

You can spend your time at the private sandy beach, dining at the three resort restaurants, swim in either the indoor or outdoor pool, relax in the hot tub or sauna, play a round of golf, fish from the fishing piers, work out in the state of the art fitness center, play racquet ball, tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball, volleyball, basketball, or enjoy the kids center with arcade at the clubhouse, all within this amazing community. (All are included, except golf which has a separate green fee.) You can even enjoy all the amenities for the entire day after you check out. (Due to Covid-19, the arcade and hot tub are currently closed.)

The condo is a hidden treasure! It’s fun and professionally decorated for the beach lifestyle at Abbey Springs. There’s a living room, kitchen, dining table with seating for 6 at the table plus four stools at the breakfast bar on the island. (You can remove a leaf in the dining table to sit 4 if you have a smaller group.) There’s a first floor master bedroom with a plush and comfortable king size bed, private bath as well as an additional bathroom on this main level.

On the upper floor you’ll find beautiful built-in bunks with 4 twin beds with the most comfortable mattresses you’ve ever slept on. It’s like sleeping in a cloud! You’ll also find a washer and dryer on this level. The name “look out” comes from the view you’ll find from the bunks on this level. You’ll be looking out onto the Abbey Springs property with seasonal lake views.

There’s a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room with a memory foam mattress for extra comfort. In total, the home sleeps 8 people in the two bedrooms plus an additional two people on the sleeper sofa.

The home is located on the second floor with an exterior stairway up to our private entrance. There’s a private deck nestled in the trees with a seating area and a tiki bar! This is a one of a kind home with no detail overlooked. It’s decorated to perfection and provides all the comforts you’d expect from an upscale vacation home.

The location of this unit is exceptional, being close to the lake and clubhouse, making it an easy walk to all the fun. To access the lake, there is a walk way through a tunnel under Lakeshore Drive to the lakefront beach, so you won’t have to worry about crossing the street. It’s there, you’ll find a the resort’s private sandy beach with a jumping pier, climbing hill, playground, grills and picnic tables, sand volleyball, basketball, and fishing. The beach area also has a lakeside full bar and grill “Below Deck” with ice cream, hot dogs, burgers, etc, which is open Wednesday – Sunday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. For those looking to get around the resort by golf cart instead of foot, we can arrange a rental golf cart for you.

The Yacht Club is a fine dining experience overlooking the lake and is more suitable for an adult dinner. Watch the sunset from your table enjoying a memorable meal or grab a drink from the Yacht Club bar and sit by the outdoor fire pits. They offer live entertainment on most weekends in the summer and be sure to stop in to see Smiling Dave for his dance party on Friday Nights – SO much fun!

There’s an additional restaurant, the Clubhouse Grille, overlooking the award winning golf course, where breakfast and lunch are served. They serve casual dinner on select Friday and Saturdays in the summer months. All three restaurants are for members only and not open to the public. As a guest of the Look Out at Abbey Springs, you are considered a guest of a member and can enjoy these establishments.

The top-rated golf course provides challenges for advanced players, yet beginners can still approach the course with confidence. The excellent condition of the course is also a feature that any golfer can appreciate. Abbey Springs Golf Course’s signature hole is the par 4, 17th hole, which offers the best view on the course. This hole plays from an elevated tee that overlooks Lake Geneva.

The home is located 1.5 miles from downtown Fontana and 8.5 miles from downtown Lake Geneva. In Fontana you can enjoy the public beach, rent a speed boat or pontoon, parasail or hang out on the dock or grab a bit to eat at Chuck’s Lakeshore Inn and Gordy’s Bar & Grill. Downtown Lake Geneva (15-20 minute drive) is home to wonderful restaurants and shopping. There is also a public lake-shore path that extends along the entire 26 miles of shoreline, and you can access it from the Abbey Springs private beach to enjoy the beautiful homes and lake views. (Walk as little or as much as you’d like… you don’t need to walk all 26 miles!)

Lake Geneva is no longer just a summer destination. The local resorts have year round activities to keep our visitors busy all year. Winter is a great time to visit, as we are located near two ski hills, with ice fishing on the lake, great cross country skiing, ice skating and sledding nearby. The US National Snow Sculpting competition comes each January or February and for the past two winters, we have been home to the Ice Castles, which are 40 feet tall interactive masterpieces that include slides, fountains, look out towers, and with led lights that move to the music. There are only 5 ice Castle sites in North America, including Utah, Colorado, New Hampshire, Canada and Minnesota and we’re lucky to have them here in Lake Geneva, too!

Autumn is a beautiful time, as well, with gorgeous foliage throughout the area including breathtaking views across the lake. There are also orchards for apple picking and many fall and Halloween events to enjoy. Spring, too, is a great time. With the ice gone, the lake comes back to life! There is a strawberry and blueberry farm for picking nearby and plenty of other fun seasonal things to do and see.

This property is great for friends and family gatherings, girls weekends, golf groups, or those who just want all of the amenities of a 5 star resort in a residential setting.

The Daily Abbey Springs Resort Fees that will be charged to you during your stay is $60 per day for up to 8 guests from May 1-October 31. The resort fee is less during the winter months and VRBO doesn’t let us lower the resort fee during specific times each year, so we have lowered the rate by $36 each day to offset the lower resort fee. Those lower rates are reflected in the calendar and rates on the site. You will have access to all the amenities I mentioned above, including the beach (seasonal), pools, arcade, fitness center, tennis (seasonal), bocce (seasonal) and more. As an owner, the Abbey Springs Resort charges me $60 per day for your stay, including the day of check out, which I pay on your behalf and don’t pass along to you. This will enable you to enjoy all the amenities after you check out and make the most of your time here. 🙂

If you are looking to rent a golf cart during your stay, we can arrange a 4 seat golf cart for you. The cost is $100 per day. We will send you a liability waiver and bill you separately for that. Let us know if you are interested.
